Usually one fee for the school management software (SIS) and another for the learning management system (LMS). With most providers subscribing to recurrent fees that fluctuate from hundreds to thousands of dollars per month. Often they do not include additional modules needed for growth or might not provide adequate levels of support services.
This is the cost associated with servers, computers, specialized software, etc. If you subscribe to secure data warehouses the costs for housing servers run several thousand dollars per month. If servers are operated locally then you run the costs of having a special dedicated room suited for this purpose.
Online platforms don't run in a vacuum. Typical third party applications include those for: creating exams and quizzes, data management and integration, Microsoft Office tools, specialized software for students and faculty, and data analytics.
These costs increase proportionally to the number of academic programs, number of students, active faculty, and complexity of the LMS portion of your learning platform. It requires highly technical employees like engineers, software developers, instructional designers, and LMS support technicians.
Basic, Assisted, or Complete
Basic Installation - Includes all modules and components. It is a full-fledged system. The SIS is installed at the latest release of SASLE. The user is responsible for data migration, data validation, configuration to school requirements, and customization.
Assisted Installation - Same as Basic Installation plus data migration of student's academic records, and configuration.
Complete Installation - All that you get in the Basic and Assisted Installation plus customization of SASLE modules, development of new modules, and validation of student's academic records, and data migration and validation of financial records.
Limited or Unlimited
All SASLE installations are customized with the shcool's name and basic information including an initial system setup in the customer's cloud or physical servers.
Limited - Depending on the size of your school we offer additional SIS modules, reports, and levels of customization.
Unlimited - Regardless of you size, we fully customized SASLE for your. This include among others: department specific reports not in the system, creation of specialized modules that add functionality to the SIS, customization of the school application process, froms, and modules, and attendance records.
Limited or Unlimited
Training happens at four levels: Administrator, staff, faculty, and students. All installations include a two week online training course to familiarize faculty with the operation of the system as it relates their teaching responsibilities.
Limited - Based on your school size, programs, number of students and faculty we assign a specific number of training hours to each
Unlimited - We train on a rolling basis based on your needs with a dedicated training staff. Training sessions are "live" and "on custumer demand".
Self-provided, KB & Ticket, or Live
Support happens at four levels: Administrator, staff, faculty, and students. All installations include administrator support for as long as the system is in operation.
Self-provided - We train SASLE's administrator as a train-the-trainer facilitator supported by our tech's.
Knowledge base + ticket - in addition to what you get in "self-provided" you gain access to our knowledge base with instructional videos, step-by-step instructions, and a ticket management system to keep track, communicate, and resolve customer's problems.
Live - in addition to "knowledge base" you get live support for your Google administratior, instructional support for Google Sites, and Google Classroom.
